Failure or lessons? How we view events impacts our life trajectory!
Kids keep trying until they get something right i.e. walking.
Falling down is part of learning to master that craft.
They haven't been conditioned to think about 'failure' as something wrong.
Adults keep trying and get dejected with every "failure" until they stop trying.
We're emotionally conditioned to feel embarrassed with every event that doesn't go our way and how it makes us look.
Embracing failure is necessary for growth
Looking like a fool is the rite of passage towards success, no matter the realm.
We feel embarrassed because we persistently seek external validation from others.
We rarely give ourselves the validation for progress and only think about destinations.
Next time you think you're not measuring up, reflect on whose ruler you're using. Yours or someone else's?
